PSLE is officially over!
Last paper was on Tuesday 4 October. It was science paper, and this boy was actually down with cold, runny nose - cough and all that. Fortunately, he said he was fine enough to complete the exam, and hopefully, completed it well.
This whole experience of taking the PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) really taught us a lot, not just Aqila as the child taking the exam but also us as his parents, about patience, perseverance and setting realistic goals.
I learnt to understand and know Aqila better, to know his strengths and weaknesses, not just in academic subjects but in other aspects in life.
All children are different. Some are good in academic, some excel in other areas. Some are driven to be the best in everything they do, some are just happy and contented with how things are. Some are very focus, some always daydream and be in their own little world. Some are confident with their abilities,
As much as we/ parents want our children to excel, we cannot push them too much or else they will break down.
Update 2022:
Almost brokedown, both Aqila and his bunda. Bunda came to the senses. Ikhlas dengan hasil yang ada. Alhamdulillah...anaknya baik2 saja. And bunda never interferes with his study in Secondary school onwards.
