Late post 26.04.17 #bulbul #birdnest
There are two eggs now. Yellow-Vented Bulbul usually lay eggs between February - June. It is April now, so it is the season. The birds can lay 2-5 eggs. So this one is on the low side.
The hatching is between 11-12 days. It has been three days, so we will hopefully have some big development around 8-9 May.
It is said that Bulbul chicks exercise siblicide due to competition. The stronger chicks would often push their weaker siblings off the nest! Oops. I hope we don't have to witness that.
